What does TTTR mean? / TTTR / (ittr, i-th-rr) Ittr is derived from the Persian word itir meaning ‘scent’.

Why there are 3 T’s in the TTTR logo? The TTTR logo is inspired by Sanskrit the classical language of Indian and the liturgical language of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. Since the late 19th century, Sanskrit has been written mostly with the / devanagari / alphabet.  It is written from left to right, has a strong preference for symmetrical rounded shapes within squared outlines, and is recognisable by a horizontal line that runs along the top of full letters.

What does the red dot in the logo stand for? The red dot / bindi / on top of the first T indicates the letter I and symbolizes the power of / shakti / pronunciation of the logo is ittr. / bindi / (Hindi, from Sanskrit bindu, meaning “point, drop, dot or small particle”) is a coloured dot worn on the centre of the forehead, originally by Hindus and Jains. Bindu is considered the point at which creation begins and may become unity. The bindi is also said to be the third eye in Hindu religion, and it can be used to ward off bad luck, the color red represents honor, love, and prosperity. / shakti / (Śakti) one of the most important goddesses in the Hindu pantheon, is a divine cosmic energy that represents feminine energy and the dynamic forces that move through the universe. Shakti, who is responsible for creation and can also be an agent of change, is often manifested to destroy demonic forces and restore balance.

How do you use TTTR? Ittr is a natural perfume oil in highly concentrated form, you need a very little amount of it. Sweep the roller twice over the palm of your hand and then apply it to the pulse points with the index finger or with a piece of cotton. The aroma of ittr stays with you for days. It draws deep into your skin, clothing and hair. It mixes with your body, after a while it becomes you. Ittr smells different from person to person because all people have a different body chemistry and body odor. Ittr can be mixed, according to everyone’s taste one can experiment with scents and try different combinations. By experimenting with a mix of different ittr’s your own exclusive fragrance appears. Ittr regulates the respiratory rhythm, will stabilize the heartbeat, calms the nervous system and the brain.

How long does a 10 ml bottle last? Because of its concentrated form, ittr is sold in tiny bottles. You need a very little amount, 10 ml. will last for an average of 8 to 12 months.

How long does TTTR stay good? Ittr is a natural product and has a permanent shelf life. Like a good bottle of wine, after the years pass, the oil will become treacly and smell more intense when matured.

Why does TTTR have a leather pouch? The leather pouch is to protect the bottle and at the same time a luxurious handbag accessory.

Why does TTTR have a small pouch with cotton? According to ancient Indian custom ittr should be applied with cotton. Apply a small amount of ittr on the palm of your hand, dab the oil with half the size of a cotton boll. Touch the preffered pulsepoints and then pluck a piece and roll it in the shape of a smooth round pearl the size of a pea, insert this cotton pearl in the ridge of the ear known as the ‘crest of helix’, do not insert in the ear hole! Use your right ear only, as this is the point where five cranial nerves come together and form a nerve centre, which are known as life regulating points. Till today Indian saints and spiritual aspirants embellish themselves with a piece of cotton dabbed in perfume oil placed at the crest of helix to assist them in their meditative state to attain enlightenment. This little pouch can be easily refilled and kept inside your bag for on the spot cotton usage.

Why does the pouch have a red thread? The red thread is called “mauli” thread and is a symbol of prosperity in India. Mauli gives the power to free oneself from bad and negative qualities, purifies thoughts and turn them into positive perceptions. Unfastening mauli before applying ittr will give you a moment to reflect on new beginnings and to count your blessings.

What does the print inside the tag and on the cotton pouch represent? The print inside the tag and on the cotton pouch represents an oil slick, this is what oil mixed with water looks like.

Why are the initials of the four fragrances placed in a white dot/circle? The white dot/circle on the labels and cards symbolizes the cotton pearl, our crest of helix ear accessory.

What does à GOGO mean? Gogo is Tanja’s nickname in India, derived from her last name Gobitz.
